DraMatiQue & BenFlowz - FlowMatiQue: Rise of the True MCs
I acted as project manager and art director for this project. The project required me to take the many elements for this final package design and actually putting them into place. A splendid example of team-work in my eyes, I'm glad to have been a part of organizing it's completion. Working under a tight deadline (there was an absolute deadline of March 28th - the album release party) I acted as a liason between the musical artists, the illustrator, designer, and the manufacturer making sure that all were on at least the same chapter, if not the same page! From initial mock-ups and texts drawn & written by me (with input from musical artist DraMatiQue) the graphic artist Feras Khagani took the concept and created our final drawings with check-ins periodically. With these drawings, a meeting was organized with designer Saroyan Humphrey who developed a number of mock-ups from which the final design was refined. A project well-done and an exercise in project management well spent. |

BenFlowz -
Tomorrow: The Hip-Hop Renaissance Again, designed by Saroyan Humphrey, I oversaw this project - the packaging for BenFlowz' Tomorrow the Hip-Hop Renaissance and acted as the general art director. While admittedly less decisive in this project this experience allowed me to become more familiar with the elements of package design, branding, and imaging, an experience that allowed me to better produce the more superior product FlowMatiQue (above). I acted primarily as a project manager, managing the various assets: the many photos from the photoshoot and designs in the development process and maintained the schedule for manufacturing. It was also within this project that I designed and developed the BenFlowz sharpie logo and the additional calligraphic script for the inside liner notes and cd tray. The album is now available regionally in the midwest/west-coast and globally via iTunes. |

FlowMatiQue T-Shirt
The final t-shirt design was created and optimized by me. Illustrations were extracted from the album cover displayed above, drawn by Feras Khagani. This merchandise, along with items on the Print section of this design portfolio, were part of a dynamic campaign branding the DraMatiQue & BenFlowz superhero logo for the FlowMatiQue album. |

The Tom Edison Collective -
Delicate Structure Installation I'm still ecstatic about this very exciting opportunity to collaborate with multi-media artists Laura Swanson, Greg Kuball and Daniel Blomquist on a large-scale installation. Utilizing our various skills and interests we designed this monsterously vertical three dimensional art-peice made of wood, sheet metal, plexi-glass, rope, and over 2160 raw eggs. Suspended from the rafters at the San Francisco Art Institute's Diego Rivera Gallery the objects existed in an otherwise empty gallery. To further compliment our outrageous work we decided to There was a digital guestbook. |

Complete Idiot's Guide to Cannibalism
Everybody's an idiot sometimes! This mock title (not created with any endorsement from the Idiot's Guide series, sorry it's not on book shelves) was developed in response to a number of euro-centric cannibalistic incidents that occurred throughout history including but not limited to: the Christian Crusades, the War on Terror, and the existance of our Vice President Dick Chaney. |
